IM Eye Review
IMEYE Review (from a real user)
I have been honoured by Steve Clayton & Tim Godfrey with an early access to their new keyword research software called IMEYE. IM Eye will be made available to the public April 8th, 2010 at 12 pm EST. People who have been around in Internet marketing for a while know that there are a ton of keyword research tools out there. Keyword Elite, Market Samurai, Micro Niche Finder- just to name a few. And also there are free tools like Google External Keyword Tool and Wordtracker, which work just as well as the paid ones if you have time to invest. So why would we need another keyword tool when we already have working ones? Read my review and you will find out.
Before continuing with my review, maybe you are not looking for IM eye review and instead are looking for
Proof that I have An Access To IMeye
To show you that I am the real deal and I have really tested IM eye and know what I am talking about I recorded a little video to show you that I have access to the IMeye software.
Ok, now that you have seen that I really have tested the IMeye, read the rest of my IM eye review to find out what I have discovered during my week of testing…
IMeye- What makes it Special?
IM eye is the first keyword tool which allows you to make a keyword research without seed keywords. What does it mean? With other existing keyword tools you first have to enter a seed keyword and then you have to wait until the tool finds you all the keywords related to your seed keyword. Depending on how much keywords you want the tool to find for you, it can take you hours. After you have gathered all the keywords you have to start filtering and analysing them by removing the ones that have too little searches or too strong competition. That’s what makes IMeye unique- the keywords are already analysed and you only have to enter the filter values to get the keywords that fit your criteria. Continue reading to find out what filters can you use to find perfect keywords for yourself…
What’s inside the IMeye???
No different confusing modules that make your head spin. Everything is in one easy to navigate and very logical interface. (Click the image for a bigger picture)
As you can see the graphics look very good and the software is very easy to use. You can run multiple projects at the same time. It’s easy to start new ones. Just click the green plus button as shown on the picture.
(Click the image for bigger picture)
Under each project you can run multiple researches for different keywords. Each in its own tab. Opening new tabs works the same way as opening new tabs for projects. Now let’s say you have started a new project. If you know what niche you want to go into, then all you have to do is enter a seed keyword to the “keyword phrase” filter. For example we want to go into weight loss niche, then we just type in weight loss. After we click the green “ok” button IMeye will filter all the keywords so that we have only these keywords left that have a phrase “weight loss” in them.
If you don’t know which keywords you want to go after then you just start filling different filters to find some hidden gems you would have never thought of yourself. All in all there are 14 different filters in IMeye that you can use to find keywords most suitable for you. 13 of them you can add or remove as you wish. Only one that you can’t remove is the keyword phrase column, but that’s logical that you can’t remove that. Isn’t it?
So the 14 filters in IM eye are:
- Keyword phrase
- Monthly searches
- Competing pages
- In Title (NR of competition who have keyword phrase in their page title)
- AW low CPC (Shows the lowest cost per click for this keyword)
- AW high CPC (Shows the highest cost per click for this keyword)
- Advertiser competition (low, medium, or high)
- Keyword length
- Ecommerce
- Domain matches
- Clickbank products
- Affiliate categories
- AW high position (Shows the estimated PPC ad position if advertiser is bidding on high CPC)
- AW low position (Shows the estimated PPC ad position if advertiser is bidding on high CPC)
As said 13 of these filters you can add and remove as you wish. It is easy to do so:
To add another filter just click the green plus button at the right of the filter bar. If you wish to remove a filter just click on the filter and a drop down opens. If you click the minus button the filter will be removed.
As you can see there are some filters which are pretty common like the searches per month, number of competing pages etc. Though they are common there are still somethings I like to say about some of them.
Monthly Searches- Broad, phrase or Exact?
There is a settings section in IMeye and I believe you can adjust the IMeye to find the keywords as you like- In broad, phrase or exact match. Still, right now this is just my guess that this will be customizable, because during my testing period I have not been able to access settings area and monthly searches are shown in phrase match. Though I didn’t have a chance to change the settings, the phrase match gives a pretty good estimation what amount of traffic you can expect from a keyword. Good thing is that the results for the phrase match seem to be accurate, cause I have tested over 50 keywords with Google Keyword External Tool and the results match. Of course they suppose to match as IMeye gets its data from Google, but I have seen keyword tools before, which get their data from Google, but still show different results.
NB! Data for searches per month seems to be accurate.
How are things with other settings?
Again I believe they will be customizable, but right now the number of competing pages is shown for phrase match. That means that you get results for competing pages as you were searching the keyword in quotes. For example if we search Google for keyword phrase “laser gaming mouse” without the quotes we get over 11 million competing pages.
(Click the images for bigger pictures)
But when we search the same keyword in quotes we get a little over 2,5 million competing pages.
So remember that as I am writing this review, IMeye shows you the results for quotes, but as I said I think it will be made customizable.
There are some new features I haven’t seen before. How about these?
Yes, there are several new features that make finding good keywords more flexible. Let’s see some of them a little closer and why they can be useful.
Clickbank Products
If you are a type of person who looks for a product in Clickbank to promote and after has found one starts looking for keywords that can be used to promote the product then you are going to love this feature of IMeye. It allows you to choose a Clickbank product or several of them and then IM eye gives you all the keywords that are used to promote the selected products.
If you click the double plus button, which you can see on the image above then you will select all the products at once. This feature of IMeye sometimes gives you some non related keywords for the product you want to promote, for example for a acne product I also got keywords for hair loss. But it’s still a good feature to come up with good keywords for a certain product you want to promote.
Affiliate Categories
Is very similar to the last feature but is a little broader. You select a niche: acne, violin, weight loss, etc. And in return IMeye gives you keywords which have been used by other people to promote this niche. After you have done so it’s easy to dig deeper with other filters you can use in IMeye.
Ecommerce
Is one of my personal favorite features of IMeye. What it allows you to do is that you can choose if you want IM eye to display all kind of keywords or only keywords which are used to promote physical products. I like this feature so much, cause when you enable it, you get mostly only buyer keywords. And if you don’t know yet, these are the ones you should be trying to find.
Domain Matches
This is really my personal favorite. Why? because it makes it super easy to make money. First I tell you what you can do with this feature and then how to use it to make some easy money.
When you click this filter you can choose between several web 2.0 sites, keyword matches domain and domains for sale or you can choose them all. Then you can choose whether you want to exclude or include the sites you selected If you don’t know what web 2.0 site are then these are sites where most of the content is user generated, this basically means that you can also put your content on these sites and if these sites are ranking already, all you have to do is put your content on the same site and do some more link building than your competitor and voila! you are ranking in top 10 of Google.
“Keyword matches domain” pretty much says what it is. It’s when you have exact keyword as your domain name like this: yourkeyword.com These type of domain names seem to rank very well, and if you don’t see any, maybe you can get one for yourself.
Domains for sale feature let’s you find domain names which are ranking in top 10 of Google and they are available to buy.
That’s all great, but how am I going to make money?
There’s so many ways you could do money with this stuff, that I couldn’t write them all here and obviously I don’t know all of them, but I will give you some ideas. The easiest way is to find a domain name for sale, buy it and you are in top 10 of Google ready to make money. The other thing which I very much like and is very easy to do is look for keywords where Amazon is in top 10. Then I just go to Amazon, take my affiliate link and start promoting the same product amazon is promoting. Though Amazon has a big authority in the eyes of Google it can still be easily outranked if you know a little SEO. And Amazon products convert very well,so you are almost guaranteed to make money.
Is there anything more?
You bet there is. You can select the keywords which you think are the best ones and add them to your favorite list. To do so all you have to do is click on the keyword phrase and it gets added. A star appears behind the keywords that are added to your favorite ones. If you want to look your favourite keywords found with IMeye just click on the star on the upper left corner.
You also have an option to download keywords onto excel spreadsheet. This way you can keep them on your computer for easy reference or make some quick money and sell them.
If you click on the keyword IMeye will open up a new browser window for you, where you can see the first page results for this keyword. Comes in handy, to check if there’s some authority site such as wikipedia, which would be difficult to outrank.
I haven’t talked about using basic filters yet. It’s really basic and easy, but effective. You have two value for most of the minimum and maximum value you are looking for. And you also have arrows which allow you to put the keywords in increasing or decreasing order.
Click on the image below to enlarge and see where the buttons for things described above are located.
Is there anything missing or terribly wrong with IMeye?
There isn’t anything terribly wrong that I have come across or I can think of. But there is one feature I think it should have, but it doesn’t have just yet. It’s competition analysis. I would like if IMeye was able to tell how many backlinks my competitors have and how good are their on-page SEO. Right now I have also Traffic Travis opened, so that I could check for these things.
Conclusion
IMeye is a great software. Undoubtedly the most powerful one I have ever used. Though I also have Market Samurai and Keyword Elite 2 under my belt. IMeye is easy to use and accurate in results as much as I can tell. When I use it different ways how I could make money with it just keep popping into my head. I believe Imeye can be very useful no matter what kind of business model you are in. It can help you find keywords for video marketing, for building list, for building niche websites, AdSense sites, ecommerce sites, big authority sites. Options are almost endless. Of course you could find the same keywords with traditional keyword tools, but it would take you just so much more time. And as you know- time is money. So I recommend you to:
>>>>Get IMeye Here As Soon As Possible<<<<
or
IMeye is rather expensive software and though it is totally worth its price and it can make you hundreds if not thousands of times more money than it costs, I understand that not everybody feel comfortable paying so much money, so I have put together a special IMeye Bonus package which is so powerful that if you ever want to make money online you should have to be totally nuts to pass this offer.

P.S. 99% of Internet Marketers never make money online and that’s because of lack of action. They simple don’t do anything when they see the opportunity of their life is in front of them. Don’t be like so much others who don’t take action. Take action- get IMeye today and make your dreams come true.

Hi Nico.
Thanks for a positive feeback. I wouldn’t say I talked about it like a god of IM products, but I admit while writing the review I was really excited so maybe it sounds like I pushed it a little too hard.
hi,
its a nice tool, but i think that is not different at all from Market Samurai, and maybe MS is a better one.
its seems that imeye its a kind of copy of market samurai.
the main idea is good for marketing the product and you did it well, but i didnt see the different, after all when you find a niche you have to make a keyword research on it and MS is better than others.
I’ve been researching niches for my first site. I’ve been using the trial version of Market Samurai. I think the main advantage of IMEye is that you don’t need a keyword seed to start it off. But there’s no way I would pay almost $200 a MONTH for IMEye when I can get Market Samurai for a 1-time cost of $100 if I buy it within 7 days of the trial starting. You do have to put more thought and work into MS but it does have a lot of the filter criteria of IMEye and more (e.g. competition). Given that keyword and domain searches are at the front end of the blog and site development process the only people I can think of who would pay that much for IMEye are people working the blog factory angle i.e. churning out sites. That being said if they had priced this at a flat fee of $200 or at a monthly of e.g. $70 I would have given IMEye more consideration. Just my 2 cents
Interesting comments. My market samurai trial is about to end and I’m looking to see if there’s an alternative. I like the look of IMEye but it’s bloody expensive!
Hi Tony!
Because of the price IMeye really isn’t for everyone, but for those who can afford it, it saves a lot of time. They also have a trial.
